The Date Change
It was June 8, 2006 when Memond and I both decided to officially move our wedding from Dec 3, 2006 to May 27, 2007 due to budget contraints. Before we had a talk I know that we will come to this point, na-sense ko na and prepared myself for the possibility. Good thing her sister and her bf moved theirs to 2008 so we are free to move to 2007. They believe in sukob kase. I asked him that we have to discuss things after my exam dko kasi alam what would be the effect on me during my review buti naman he is considerate enough.
The good side of this is that the special people who will be playing a big role in our wedding have the more chance to come and be a part of out big day! My Matron of Honor who will be coming from Florida, my one and only tita who’ll be a principal sponsor coming from Guam and my closest cousin who is a part of the secondary sponsor is no longer pregnant by that time. Hehehe. Naghinayang lang ako sa mga Save The Date Cards namin. :-(
Well I guess this is the best date for us when I gave NSDG and PSE Auditorium a call both available on our new date and I never had problems on request for date change – through phone and a request letter lng, no additional charges or whatsoever! Then I also gave a call to our prospective suppliers Eloquente (catering), Paul Vincent (Photography) and Sheridan Pamintuan (Videography) and they all still available. Unlike when we were targeting Dec 3, 2006 – pahirapan ang booking halos sumuko na ako noon. Hehehe.
May 27, 2007 is our new wedding date! and is my 27th birthday! :-)
Yes! I PASSED!
Whew! The pressure, the nervousness, and sleepless nights are over! The perseverance, determination, prayers and setting off my mind getting married are all worth it! There were mix emotions before, during and after the certification exam. Grabe! Ganun pla ang feeling dko ma-describe, basta after the exam I felt so much relief and happiness.
I made it! I am now a Certified SAP SD Consultant! Yehey!
He is back!
Yey! My babes is back in Manila last June 1, 2006. I dearly miss him . . . we have been far apart again for months and few days tapos we don’t talk that much, he is busy with his work and I am busy with the training and review as well. Though wrong timing dating nya . . . . sympers super excited pa rin ako. Hehehe.Since his arrival date is my review period for the certification exam, d ko na sya sinundo ng airport and I don’t have the plans of seeing him that day buti naman he understands it. But because I do miss him sooooo much dko matiis time-out muna ako sa review :-P I paid a surprise visit at their house along with the carbonara I prepared. Ahihihi. Somehow, someway I guess he was surprised. :-)
Preps while on Training
All the while I thought I will be on an off mode to wedding preps while I’m on a training – hindi pla. Hehehe. I had a great time preparing during the training period.
One early morning while waiting for our instructor, I check our wedsite and my seatmate/classmate Lou saw it. Nyak! Nalaman tuloy na ikakasal ako. Hehehe. Then she suddenly told me, they also have a wedding announcer account and she’s getting married on June 24, 2006. Akala ko nga w@w member sya, hindi pla but she eventually joined the group. Na-convince ko yata. Hehehe. From then on we became close because of the wedding preps. Dahil maaga naming natatapos sa mga hands-on exercises browse ditto at doon at bigla nalang kmi tatawa kpag may nkita kmi something weird, napapatingin na lng instructor and classmates nmin smin. Hehehe.
We also had some wedding supplier/vendor trips after our dismissal. We paid a visit to the wind chimes supplier in Novaliches – grabe ang layo pla, muntik muntikan pa kmi maligaw. We also went to Dapitan Arcade to look for some candelabras as her centerpieces then we went to Dangwa and I had the chance to meet the famous Mang Boy, sumama pa mga classmates nmin. Hehe.
I also had the chance to visit Star Paper, isa png lugar na napuntahan ko na super layo, muntikan pa ako maligaw. Sad to say the paper/board I was looking for is phased out already. Whuaaaaahhh!!!
Another accomplishment was our Save-the-date cards! Natapos ko na. Hehehe.
Nakapag food taste pa kmi ni MIL 2b with Dexie’s. Hehehe. See feedback on this link: http://raymond-rhia-weddingpreps.blogspot.com/2006/04/food-tasting-with-mil-2b.html
