The Gift: E-Ring

I never thought that h2b will still find time and extra money to buy me an engagement ring. :) He got me a ring more than what I expected. It may not be that genuine diamond, big Russian diamond is better than nothing . . . Hehehe. Almost the same with the genuine one. But the white gold ring itself is more than good enough. In short maganda sya! I like it! :D

It was the afternoon before Christmas when h2b paid a visit at our house (Pampanga) while having late lunch with my sister (noli) and bro-in-law (lloyd) enjoying our lunch feast (sympre special luto ko e: kare-kare and everydoby's favorite my mom's special chicharon = sarap!) out of nowhere bigla na lng nilabas ni h2b ang Christmas gift nya for me in his pocket - The ENGAGEMENT RING! As in abot lang, ni hindi man isinuot. Hehehe. Pinasilip lng sa akin. Sympre si Ate Noli na excite din, mega silip at nauna pa nyang sinukat sa akin at nagpapabili rin sa asawa. Hehehe. Biglang hirit kay h2b bkit wala ka pair na earrings. Maloko tlga si Ate khit kelan. Hehehe

Though it was a kinda odd way of presenting the gift to me I am still very thankful and felt happiness because he was brave enough to hand it to me infront of my sister and BIL. Well I was still a little surprised kase the ring is really nice, it is not the usual e-ring na pinatong lng ang bato, my konting design pa that makes it stylish - just enough to make it more simple and elegant. Kaya pla pinagpapawisan sya ng husto though the dinning area is cold enough para pagpawisan sya.

Supposedly sabay h2b uwi (from Manila to Pampanga) with us the day before nagbago ang isip. He will find some other time na lang daw to visit us. Ngayon pla instead of going home with us he went to Ongpin with his mom and bought the ring. The ring was actually his and MIL2B's choice. They ended naman with my taste :D

Gown Desings & Couturier (Wattah Day!)

This is definitely another "bogsa" (sabog) day for us. Imagine the Divi on a full pack mode. Agrrrhh! Meeting Racquel is not our main agenda, ambush trip lang actually . . . We went there to shop for toys for h2b's godchildren . . . so para sulit ang trip nmin to Divi, I asked h2b na isama na rin sa itinerary and nagpapabili na rin ng pina silk cloth si dad for his barong.

Due heavy traffik, DV is super crowded and its getting late na rin we ended up meeting Raquel (muntik pa kmi di magkita, nagkaligaw-ligaw kmi :P) and able to buy pina silk cloth lang for dad. Un lng! We weren't able to buy na toys for the kids/h2b's godchildren which is our main reason.

Lakas ng trip: Hahaha! Though kahit sobrang pagod and all dinaan na lng nmin sa tawa ang way back home nmin. Good thing we didn't bring our own transpo dhil super heavy ang traffic! we did a lot of alay lakad as in sinuyod nmin ang buong CM Recto. Hehe. We hopped from one jeep to another. Sakay lng kmi ng sakay. Naka 4 short jeepney rides kmi before we reached my place. hahaha. Kakasakay lng nmin baba na nga kmi kasi we really don't know were we are going. Naubos na ang sense of direction nmin due to pagod. Hehehe.

On the other hand we found our trip sulit na rin kase we finally found our couturier - Racquel. She meet our requirements. We ended up having our ento gowns two-toned (original) pa, wherein we are planning to have shantung lng sana, due to reasonable price she gave us :D So right then and there we decided na sya na kuhanin nmin and doon na rin nmin patahi gowns mga moms nmin :)

- One piece V-Neck Backless, Tea Length Semi-Ballgown in two toned canary yellow cloth, skirt layered with biased two toned fuschia pink accented ribbon as belt - again in fuchsia pink two toned cloth.

Our Flower Girls' Gown Design (Rory, Tam, Lana, Faye, Hannah & Rohanne)

- 2 layered Spaghetti Strapped, Floor Length Semi-Ballgown gown. Layer 1: in two toned fucshia pink cloth; Layer 2: in canary yellow cloth. Back accented with corset like with ribbon- again in fuschia pink two toned cloth.

- Quote: Php 900

Come Feb 2007, our ento & MOG/B will have their gown measurements at Bulacan (where Racquel's Shop is located and mas malapit sa amin sa lhat ng ento).

Terms of Payment:
30% - upon measurement
70% - upon completion & pick up of of gowns

Our day didn't end here . . . as we reached my place (Shaw) freshen-up lng then change outfit to pang-gimmick then we headed to h2b's place (Makati) his turn to freshen-up at dun na rin meeting place nmin. Original plan was to have our night at Pier One (Pasay), e umapila ung iba para maiba naman daw mag Metro Walk (nyak! balik nanaman near my place) kmi. Good thing hindi traffic on way there. The bad side of it puno naman lhat ng resto and other establishments, mostly closed due to coporate xmas party - exclusive! We did a lot of walk and walk at metro walk! Bagsak nmin sa Yoohoo! Hehehe. Then after that we headed to Greenhills sa Jack's Loft! Heavy traffic! Pagdating naman nmin sa place sulit, parang exclusive ung place sa amin. Hehehe. So peacful! The place is just enough for a weekend barkada gimmick kwentuhan and relaxation while drinking beer, cocktails and different kinds of cake! Hahaha! We parted ways at 3:00 Am. Hehehe.

It's really a Wattah Day and Bogsa Day for us ni h2b. Lakas ng trip! Pagod tlga!

Who else?! but Shierdan "Dan" Pamintuan. We didn't look or talked pa to other videographers tanging sya lng. We really trust our video to him.

Finally we met again after couple of months and after several reskeds and this time with h2b na (he wants to meet kase all our suppliers eh). I scheduled for a second meeting because h2b wants to meet him, second-to pay our DP khit dpa kmi sinisingil :P and to sign the contract.

Actually I am open of giving up Dan as our videographer kase base from what I heard nagtaas na sya ng rates - eh nka pencil booking lng kmi sa knya but confirmed pero pwede pa rin kmi affected sa increased rates nya. Eh super out of the budget na kung gnun. Good thing Dan is kind enough to give us his old rates with free pre-nup video pa, as a thank you daw sa 2 referals ko :) Yahoooooo! Bait mo bro! You deserve the Top 5 W@W awardee. Super natuwa tlga ako! Kala ko mawawalan na kmi ng isang magaling na videographer. Pwede pla ako work na sa networking or sa sales. Hehehe.

During the meeting he showed his new crafts to us and a lil discussion of what will happen on our pre-nup and wedding video. Pina excite lng nya kmi. Parang that time nga e gusto na nmin pa pre-nup video, and we were laughing the whole time :D Para kming magbabarkada doon with his wifey :D

After that bumalik na ako sa office (floors away lng naman-kya madali takas), then h2b waited for me mag out sa office while gala sya sa mall.

Dec 3, 2006: Our Supposedly Wed Day

Though we were not able to push through with our Dec 2006 wedding we had a little celebration but just between the two of us - h2b and I. A simple celebration at yet a very memorable one. We had so much fun too! (O mababaw lng kmi . . . . hehehe)

We had overflowing SMS and calls exchange from morning upto the time we met - mostly supposedly happenings "sana" of that day (sayang lng kase we cnt be together on the exact time of our supposedly wed time (h2b in makati playing bowling tournament, me nman on my way back to my place from pampanga).

It was around 5 pm when h2b picked me up. So khit di natuloy ang wedding, tumuloy pa rin kami sa church - NSDG! We participated mass (but not a wedding), tapos bulungan kmi ng "I do" hehehe. Tapos pose kmi kunwari for picture taking. Hahaha. Kulang na lng mag suit si h2b at ako naman bridal gown. Hahaha. Para kming mga baliw. :P

After mass we headed to our "comfort zone" enjoyed being husband and wife "kuno" and we have had a grand dinner (isang buong cripy pata and big plate of mixed veggie at ubos!) - super busog kaya kmi tumataba. hahaha!
