Ang Paghingi ng Aking Kamay

Sa tagal ng panahon ng pag iipon ng lakas ng loob, paninindigan at pagbuo ng loob (let me borrow your words babes. . . hehe) we did it! Mwhihihi . . . Kakakilig na sobrang kabado. Hehehe. Can’t explain the feeling mode ako ulit. :P

Here’s the story:
It was Friday rainy afternoon of Nov 17, 2006 . . . I sent my mom and dad a text message that we (Ate Noli, h2b and I) are going home over the weekend (Manila to Pampanga), going to fetch them at home on Saturday (Nov 18, 2006) then have a lunch out. I also indicated in the text message to prepare their selves (what I meant is bihis na sila, para pagdating nmin-alis na kaagad). After a couple of mins my mom called and asked why will I treat them lunch? Just told her – “wala lng kasi I earned from my sideline". Hehehe. Nasense na siguro kya napatawag. Sympre di ko sinabi the real reason. :P

We (Ate Noli, h2b & me) left my place at 10:00AM, sympre kabado si h2b – pang-asar naman si Ate. Me? Excited na dko maintindihan. Practice here and there. Hahaha! While we are on our way home si h2b d masyado salita to think na super daldal to! Kinakabahan daw kasi. Hahaha!

We reached home at around 11:45. Dad and Mom are ready (as always) tapos in a few minutes umalis na kmi. As we reached the resto (Mr. Choi – Robinson’s Starmills) d2 na ako nagsimulang kabahan as in tugudug-tugudog ang heartbeat ko! Feeling ko nga namumutla pa ako . . . tapos order . . . order . . (ugali tlga ni ate ‘to . . . so nothing unusual at d kasama sa script). Eat . . . eat . . . eat, dami naming nakain at ubos . . . tatakaw eh. Hahaha! Before malapit matapos kumain h2b gave me na the go signal na mag start na kmi. Parang aatras nga ako that moment, pero sayang naman ang set-up kya go na. Our script - - -

“Dad . . . Mom may sasahin daw si Memond”
- grabe ang hirap tlga! Parang ang haba ng sinasabi ko – felling ko nginig lips ko. hehehe. Then tumatawa na ate ko, symppre natawa kmi 3 tapos salita na si h2b, ang hina ng boses. Hehe.

“Nagpaplano na po kmi magpakasal ni Rhia. Kung ok lng po sa inyo. Balak po naming mamanhikan sana sa January po.”

Reaction nila?
Mom’s reaction was --- “Sabihan nyo na si tita nyo”
- Nagpipresinta kase si Tita Gel (Mom’s sis) to be one of our PS, every now and then follow up sya kapag overseas call sya.

Dad’s Reaction was --- “ ? ”
- Grabe ito! Dko expect! I really saw in his face the sadness. I din’t hear anything from him tlga :(. No reaction pa rin sya. Ayyy bkit ganun?

Hehehe. Wala pa rin reaction si Daddy. Then konting kwento-kwento about the wedding, when and where, un lang. Well, I guess ok lang naman kay daddy – d lng tlga sya nkapag react. Silent type lng tlga un kapag mga usapang ganun. Afterwards, iniba lng ni dad ang topic. Pero ok lng un with us kase para mawala ung kaba nmin and we are not yet ready in discussing the details muna. Hehehe.

Then after that bill out na kmi, tapos kanya-kanya muna . . . ikot muna sa mall tapos met in one place, then uwi na. While we were on our way home, parang walang nangyari. The usual kwentuhan.

Until now wla pa rin napag-uusapan re wedding, matagal pa naman daw eh. Hehehe.

The Gown Sketch

Just how I wanted it! Simple!

A side kwento: Before Jaja (designer of Ysabelle Bridal Factory) and I came up with the design. I did fit a gown of almost the same cut and all. According to h2b I look good naman daw. Ganda daw! Nyak! Hehehe). Afterwards, I flipped on my bridal magz and showed Jaja some gown pics and explained to her/him how I wanted my gown to be, 5 gowns yta un na pinagsama-sama sa isa. Good thing Jaja can easily get what I want, he/she actually exceeded my gown expectation. He/She ended up better than what I wanted and un daw ang pinaka safe na design and cut for me. Mwhihihi. My h2b even loved it!

Honestly, I really can’t imagine myself wearing this gown. I have this fear na baka hindi bumagay sa akin, bka hindi ko madala or what. I still don’t have the confidence, pinag-iipunan at pinaghahandaan ko pa. Whuaaaaaaah! Have to lose a lot of weight! Dapat kasing sexy ko ung nasa sketch! Hehehe!
Thanks Ate Rona for scanning the sketch.

Strings & Gown II

Why with Part II? We had the same activity the following weekend (Nov 4, 2006) Strings and Gown ulit but this time with my sister Noli as our driver – para she can practice her driving skills with her service car. Kaya pumayag besides my h2b will teach him on proper driving, area nya rin kase ang pupuntahan nmin. Hehehe. So my sis and I headed at Ysabelle, alam ko kayang-kaya ko na sya guide on way there, I know naman how to drive kaso I never had the chance to drive EDSA . . . pero GO pa rin kame. Buti na lng Ysabelle is very accessible to us – we just dropped by the place and picked up my sketch, katuwa! Lalo gumanda gown ko! My sister liked it too . . . The sketch? I’ll post it in on a different blog. Then we headed to Shell Buendia to pick-up h2b, hay buti naman at makakasama na nmin si h2b para ma-feel ko naman na safe kami sa aming paglalakbay.

So from Buendia we headed to Malate (hindi muna kmi nag lunch kase bka malate na kmi on our 1PM meeting) to see actual demo of IME (Impressions Music Ensemble), which was refered to me by John (officemate ko na ikakasal din). As we reached the place, hi and hello then demo na kaagad – nakakainlove! Para kming sineserenade. Parang love is all over the air. Bong & Johanna are very accommodating and easy to talk to sinamahan pa ng cute nilang anak na si Joy, 3 year old girl and served us some refreshments, beans and nuts. Right then and there we booked them and paid Reservation fee.

After the meeting went back to Makati to have lunch, sympre treat ni ate . . she promised this a long time ago, kala ko di tutuparin. Hehehe. Thanks ate for the treat at hidi kami kinuripot! Then kanya-kanya na, h2b went home, ate and I went home to Pampanga - we reached home safe and sound naman. Hehehe.

Strings & Gown I

Oct 28, 2006 - our first attempt of meeting strings that would be playing the sound of love for church and reception. It is also the day for my gown inquiry – kaya a week before pa of the said date is super excited na ako. Hehehe. Here’s our activity story:

As always . . . since I really do love cooking and my h2b love eating I preapared a healthy lunch (ginataang squash-string beans & spicy fried pork) before doing our activities. Hehehe. We left our place at around 3pm, d kmi mkagalaw-galaw sa sobrang kabusugan. Sarap ng luto ko e. :P

Stop 1: Velvet Mood @ Megatrade Hall 2, 3:00 PM
This was funny na ewan na hindi naming maintindihan. Harhar! Mercy of Velvet Mood gave this sched to us para we can see daw how their group will play. So it’s very convenient for us, since walking distance lang place ko sa Megs (SM Megamall). As we reach Megs (Hall 2), I thought I got the wrong info – her (Mercy) invitation sched for demo viewing is “PAMPATAY!” She didn’t mention na that exhibit is sa patay, ako naman dko naman naitanong. Malay ko bng tumutugtog sila sa patay. Hehehe. At eto pa . . Eventually after a several exchange of SMS and calls with Mercy, nagkatagpo rin kami, entertained us and showed some dvd demos. We also waited for the group to play, ahhhh ummm . . . . okay naman sila, kaya lang we didn’t appreciate it that much kase nga pampatay ung tinugtog nila. Hay . . . we asked na lang for their other sched. Bahala na kung punta kmi.

Stop 2: Ysabelle Bridal Factory @ EDSA Branch, 4:00 PM
After our meeting with Velvet mood we headed to Ysabelle for my gown. Night before our sched I had an exchange of SMS with Rhoda (Ysabelle owner), so as we reached their shop – hi and hello then asked me what gown was on my mind . .. then I mega explain, then pinakuha nya the gown that would match my requirements then I fitted it kung babagay sa akin gnun style, dpa ako tapos mg fit aba etong si h2b tumatawag na to se if bagay ko . . . Good thing h2b liked it!

Jaja the gown designer started sketching the gown I like, showed him some pages of the magazine I am bringing. Kuha naman nya kagagad what I am trying to him//her (her na lng cguro . . . hehehe) and she made a ‘lil modification and it turned out more beautiful compared sa sinasabi ko sa knya. Galling! I really felt sobrang happy after seeing the rough draft of my gown. Then Rhoda started quoting, tawad ditto at doon . . . hirap mkipag bargain . . . mga Chinese eh. Nung una ayaw ko pumayag kasi it’s over the budget ng 1k - pero the way h2b and I see it, mura na sya kay we paid na kagad the reservation fee. Hehehe. Sayang lng I can’t bring the sketch along with me, Rhoda told me to pick it up anytime the following weekend, ok lng lapit lng naman ako sa shop eh.

Hehehe. Hanggang sa pag-uwi, bago matulog (b4 having a gudnyt sleep h2b called me and said, ganda daw ung gown design and reasonable price (gusto mo rin mag-gown? hehehe)) and pag gising ko I can still see the picture of my gown, sayang dko napanaginipan. Hehehe.
